Bio
Jeannie
Schweitzer
was introduced to Jin Shin Do in 1987 after facing a six month “breast cancer
scare” that ended with surgery. She decided her body needs to be treated as a
temple and not a rental. This was the motivating attitude that profoundly
changed the way she was seeing and living her life. Whole Health became the
first priority. Jin Shin Do is a unique way to view and experience life with
the many changes that are always taking place. She became committed to the study
of Jin Shin Do in 1990 as a vital, dynamic way to approach life with more
harmony and ease.
In 1997 she opened
The Acupressure Center with Brenda Dempsey and began her work with those
struggling with health questions in their life. During the last 8 years Jeannie
has focused mainly with others seeking relief from stress, grief, loss, and
addictions. In 2007 she wrote, presented, and published an article for the BC
Acupressure Therapist Association on Addictions and Jin Shin Do protocols. The
primary focus of her work is to create an atmosphere of harm reduction while
encouraging clients to expand and nourish what is already working in their
lives. Jin Shin Do, changes in lifestyle, personal attitudes, along with
continued patience and awareness can benefit towards a more productive, positive
way of living.
She is committed
to seeking and exploring ways to help others create vitality and vibrant health
in their lives.
Her new office is
now located at Vitalis Health and Wellness Center in Quathiaski Cove, along with
other independent Alternative Health Care Practitioners from Quadra Island.

When the mind no longer
wanders
It returns to its source
When the body is treated
properly
It remains as supple as a
newborn child.
When the inner vision is
clear
The radiant whole is
seen.
